Our newly revamped 3/4year old provision for September 2025! We share the Early Years unit with our sister class for Reception aged children (Ash class)

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a happy, friendly environment where all children feel safe, secure and valued. 

Our environment is calm and thoughtfully set out to create language rich and enriching opportunities for children to explore and make connections. We learn through play, we are curious by nature, we get messy (sometimes very!) and creative.  The unique child is at the centre of all that we do and the decisions we make.

Our approach is underpinned by many theorists and play experts around the globe resulting in a special child centred approach that ensures children thrive in all aspects of life.  Here are a few early years’ experts that inspire our current approach - Early Excellence, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Mantle of the Expert, Imaginative Inquiry, Anna Ephrave In The Moment Planning, The Curiosity Approach, Greg Bottrill’s ‘Can I go and Play Now’ and Hygge in the Early Years.

Alongside our experienced and caring team of staff, children are encouraged to follow their own ideas, developing their thinking and independence in an environment which supports creativity, curiosity and imagination therefore creating a life long thirst for knowledge and information.
